The Cal Times is California University of Pennsylvania’s student-run newspaper.
The Cal Times mission is to deliver fair and balanced news to the student population of California University of Pennsylvania.
The newspaper has gone through many changes through the years, starting off as the Hammer & Tongs in the 1930s, the Tower Times in the 1940s, and becoming the Cal Times today.
The Cal Times circulates 3,000 copies on campus and in the surrounding Mon Valley community.We look to expand through the internet with our Web site, Youtube account, Facebook, Twitter and other social media.
