Soccer team overcomes the Rock

With a win against Slippery Rock in penalty kicks, the Vulcans’ women’s soccer team advances to the round of 16 for the second year in a row. The Vulcans and Slippery Rock were tied 1-1 at the end of regulation; the Vulcans then defeated Slippery Rock 4-2 in penalty kicks.

The Vulcan women’s soccer team posted a 2-0 record in PSAC play to move to 6-0-1 and 10-0-1 on the season, during the week of Oct. 2.

Vulcans Cruise Past Mercyhurst, 5-1

The women’s soccer team returned to PSAC action against the Mercyhurst Lakers. The Vulcans defeated the Lakers 5-1 with five different players scoring. The Vulcans move to 5-0-1 on the season with seven points in the division.
