As an Honor's Society, our Alpha Lambda Delta members pride themselves on dedication to academics, community service, and career building. In its short life-time, our organization has grown from a forty member society, to our current group of nearly three hundred members. This spring, we are excited to induct our newest and biggest class of students -- over one hundred new members! The great support and recognition that we are receiving campus-wide is giving our members both a personal and professional advantage.
Additionally in 2011, our Alpha Lambda Delta chapter won two national awards; The Order of the Torch Award and The Delta Award. The Order of the Torch award is given to the most outstanding chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta in the nation. Thanks to the dedication of our officers and the work of our members, we received national recognition and were awarded this prestigious honor. The other award we won, The Delta Award, is given to any chapter who increases their chapter enrollment by more than twenty-five percent. We feel that our growth has derived from our dedication to service and our interest in helping our members gain a career advantage. Each award we receive gives us the motivation to continue bettering our organization and working with our members to provide them with a positive experience.
