Membership

Membership shall be characterized by those students who are genuinely interested in the organization, willing to render any services available to them, and who are immediately affected by the actions of this organization.

Mission Statement

The mission of The Young and Gifted Gospel Choir is to spread the Gospel "good news," of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, in song. We provide an opportunity for people to assemble in Christian fellowship and song. By singing this music, the choir’s aim is to share the Gospel with others and express spiritual principles.

Goals and Objectives

1. Students gain an understanding of gospel music as an art form.
2. Show significant influence of black spiritual music on "American-born" forms of music.
3. Draw a correlation between black sacred music and social change.
4. Provide knowledge, understanding, and application of vocal technique.
