California University of Pennsylvania Lacrosse or CAL U LAX is the student organization at the university to harbor and grow lacrosse within the student body. The club itself has been a staple on campus for more than 10 years but the organized and competiitive team aspect is the newest addition to the program. The members of the club are both male and female, from all walks of life, with one common goal, to enjoy the sport of lacrosse.
The men of the club take it to another level by competing in the Keystone Conference of the National College Lacrosse League, with such local rivals like Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Robert Morris, Slippery Rock, Penn State, Pitt-Johnstown, West Virginia and many other local colleges and universities. The team competes in a fall relaxed training program and a competitive spring season that includes 20 or more games.
The club is for all skill levels and any and all interest in the sport of lacrosse. We have athletic, business, management, financel and leadership positions avalibly so please feel free to join and help better the club and yourself. With over 50 members, the networking posibilites are endless and the friendships are those that you won't find anywhere else.
