The Student Association Inc. at Cal U of PA seeks a full-time Multimedia Center Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities include: monitoring and support of a busy student multimedia lab, and assisting in the development and production of multimedia applications.

Requires Associates Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field. Knowledge of Mac and PC OS, and JavaScript, PHP, MySQL/SQL. Must be a team player with good communication skills who is eligible to work in the USA.

MOBILE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT INTERN

The Student Association, Inc., a non-profit affiliated with California University of PA, is looking for a mobile software development intern.

This is an excellent opportunity for an interested, qualified student to gain valuable experience in the mobile computing field, and learn to design, develop, and test software for the iOS, Android and mobile web platforms. This position will require the selected candidate to work on real mobile projects for SAI and other Cal U of PA-related entities. Actual duties will depend on the level of skill, progress and willingness to learn.

Essential Responsibilities:

• User interface design, development, documentation, implementation, testing, and maintenance of mobile applications for Student Association, Inc.
• Build applications using agreed upon specifications and within a required timeframe.
• Contribute to the overall development of the Multimedia Access Center, and the Student Association, Inc. and the Cal U Fusion mobile initiative.

Requirements:

• Must be a currently enrolled Cal U of PA student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other discipline related to the essential responsibilities.
• Must be available to work during normal business hours of 8AM - 4PM, Monday - Friday.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, PHP and HTML
• Experience with Java, COCOA, Objective-C, C/C++ is a plus.
• Must demonstrate a strong interest/background in mobile
• Attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving.
• Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way.

This internship will be a part-time position of approximately 15-20 hours per week at minimum wage.
