Ann K. Howley is a wife, mother and freelance writer who lives in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. She is currently finishing her first book, a collection of stories and essays entitled "Confessions of A Do-Gooder Gone Bad." I am a freshman at California University of Pennsylvania.As a young girl, I always admired Maya Angelou. I loved reading her books and even more so, her poems. In middle school, I began to really pursue my poetic ability. Most of my poetry reflects my life experiences or experiences that people I know have gone through themselves. I believe that anything that comes from the heart will touch it; therefore, I put my heart and soul into every poem. Ta'lor Lynnette Pinkston

Ta’lor Lynnette Pinkston has been writing since she was in second grade at Spring Hill Elementary School in Pittsburgh, Pa. With a love for a happy ending, she began writing short stories about love, life, and family, considering, "The Stump Will Still Stand." In Middle School, at Rogers C.A.P.A, her writing grew to a love of poetry which is her true passion. Most of the poems that she has written over the years, are rewritten pieces that she has developed as she grows wiser in writing. Her poems, "One" and "One You, One Me," are both loves poems, that she first wrote back in the early 2000's, changed for the experiences and changes in her life.

I want to one day own my own Art Therapy clinic. Art Therapy should be a class taught as early as Kindergarten, but definitely to children entering middle school. Love and Laughter conquer all.

My name is Breanna Rodriguez-Lee and I am currently a sophomore. I am from Hanover, Pa but have come to Cal to major in Middle level Ed Social Studies and minor in music and spanish. Around Cal, I participate in several clubs and organizations such as: Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), Habitat for Humanity, String Ensemble, Alpha Lambda Delta, and Phi Sigma Pi. In my free time, I often write. I see it as a great way to express yourself and help relate to others.

My name is Brittany Brandenburg and I am 20 years old. I am a sophomore at Cal U majoring in Wildlife Biology. My hometown is Avella. I have always loved nature and the animals in it, so I guess that's why I started getting interested in photography. Every time I see something breath-taking or beautiful I always hope I have my camera on me so I can snap a few shots.

Kaelyb Suchevits, 19, is a junior attending California University of Pennsylvania majoring in Secondary Education Chemistry.  Born in Yuma Arizona he moved to Farmington PA at age 4 where his family started a small poultry farm.  While attending Uniontown Hugh School Kaelyb developed into the avid writer he is today.

My name is Katherine (Katie) Ursitti and I am twenty-one years old. I have been writing poetry since I was about fourteen. While poetry is not my strongest area, I prefer to write stories of varying lengths but continue to write poems during my spare time.
